When you are looking for a quick break from your hectic routine, Kupferquelle offers you the perfect solution. Unique with its rustic charm combined with modern amenities, the resort is the best accommodation close to Etosha National Park.
When you book your stay with us, you can choose to make day trips to the nearby tourist attractions over the weekend, or spend your time enjoying our facilities. Of course, there are plenty of things to do in Tsumeb when you only have one day.
Many of our guests choose to just stay in and relax over the weekend, in one of our chalets, or if you prefer, at one of our camping sites. Some of the activities you can delight in are:Â
Olympic sized swimming pool
One of the major attractions at Kupferquelle is the Olympic sized swimming pool, with eight 50-metre laps. It is one of three swimming pools of its size in Namibia, and the only one in the North of the country. If you plan to spend the day visiting one of our world-famous attractions like the Etosha National Park, or our Arts and Cultural Village, you will enjoy a swim in the cool waters of the pool to wash the dust off before you head out for a leisurely meal. Should you decide to stay in, the pool will give you an excellent cardio workout 🙂Â
Choice of accommodation
We offer family and self-catering chalets, standard chalets and amazing camping sites set in scenic surroundings. The rooms are spacious. For those who want to combine business with their break, there are two conference rooms with state-of-the-art facilities to conduct your meetings. One can take about 20-30 people, while the larger room is equipped for 150 people.
The resort offers a convenience store with essentials such as freshly baked bread, meat for your braai, beer and wine, dairy products and magazines. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, modern furnishings, facilities to make tea and coffee, ceiling fans, air conditioning, television, a safe to keep your valuables, and a porch with garden furniture. Family chalets also have a braai area with an extra sitting and living room – and are self-catering -letting you enjoy your meals in privacy.
The camping sites are beautiful with plenty of shade from large trees, potable water, power supply, Wi-Fi, clean ablution facilities and laundry room. Even if you don’t choose to camp, you can still explore the area and take a look at the plants, which are part of the Botanical garden. There is 24-hour security and the camp is completely safe, where you can enjoy a braai.
Our guests particularly appreciate our friendly, helpful staff, who are always ready to help with anything you need.
